Ideally I'd do a server remove, run chkdsk, format the drive, and start over. At this point I'm thinking I should just pull the drive and run chkdsk in another desktop. Other than command prompt, I don't see any way to run chkdsk from the add-in.Ĥ. Is this supposed to be done from the client (which I don't have) or from command prompt in the add-in, or somewhere else. I had *heard* the best way to run chkdsk on the server was via the tool kit. Am I missing something on the server in addition to missing the client options?ģ. It seems to be working there, but there aren't a whole lot of choices of tools beyond logs and resetting IIS, and command prompt. To workaround I extracted the tookkit.msi from the WHSTooklit installer and added that to the server via the add-in tab. I don't have any 32-bit computers, other than the ex490.Ģ. The link-to MSI won't install on a 64-bit computer, even using compatibility mode. It also has iso images for the three original cd's You install it on your pc first then there is a option to publish it to the server as a addin.
