Korobushka (Russian Folk Dance Melody) 5. Yugoslav Medley: Sano Duso (Dear Sano), Cujes Malo (Listen Little One), 4. Two Sailor's Dances: Yablitchko (traditional), Kostya's Dance (Kostya Poliansky), 3. Toska Po Rodine (Longing for Homeland), 2. 18: Tzigane Balalaikas: Gypsy Strings (Set One): Side 1: 1. Playing Bright Shines the Moon and Meadowlands as a medley is awesome (it would be more awesome if I could play it well). Of course I have the album and have made an mp3 of each tune. I located an online source which gives the Russian and English titles which might help anyone who is interested in locating these by another name. I never thought much about playing those tunes on the banjo, but it makes sense. They played Eastern European music on balalaikas, and I bought their album (a vinyl named Tzigane Balalaika Gypsy Songs). About 35 years ago, while visiting Silverton, Colorado, I heard a live group playing at a restaurant. ![]()
